Sevendust: New Year's Eve at The Masquerade
Sevendust, the Atlanta-based heavy metal band has been an institution in heavy music since their inception in 1994. The band is embarking on a winter tour and is kicking off the festivities with three nights of performances at The Masquerade in Atlanta, culminating in a New Year’s Eve show where they will be performing what is arguably their breakout album Home in its entirety.
From Atlanta, the band embarks to shows all over the United States and then heads over to Australia. Accompanying Sevendust on the tour are Tremonti, Cane Hill, Lullwater and Kirra with the main leg of the tour kicking off February 1st in Houston, Texas. What this means is that the Atlanta shows should be a particularly special treat since they are being played December 28, 29 and 31 and should serve as a preview of what is to come for the remainder of the tour (with the 31st show likely being the exception with Home being played cover-to-cover.)
For those less familiar with the history of Sevendust, the band has fielded 12 studio albums. Of those, they earned multiple consecutive RIAA gold certified albums, a Grammy nomination, found themselves on the Mortal Kombat soundtrack and even performing an official theme song for the Atlanta Falcons called Falcons On Top in 2010 and on the Scream 3 soundtrack and the song Waffle was briefly played in the Chris Rock film Down to Earth.
Tickets for the tour are still available Purchase them directly at https://sevendust.com/ but we would especially encourage you to purchase the Atlanta shows early (and the New Year’s Eve show in particular) as Sevendust sells out Atlanta quite frequently. Concert Hopper will see you all at the New Year’s Eve show at The Masquerade in Atlanta.
