The Final Tour featuring Our Last Night, Grayscale, and Wind Walkers (9.19.2025)

20 years of touring are coming to an end. For over 20 years, Our Last Night has been making music. After spending all this time touring the world, they decided that it would be better to stay home with their families to watch their kids grow and be more involved. Don’t worry, this won’t be the end of Our Last Night; they will be making music regardless of not going on tour anymore. You can check out their farewell post here. They are on tour with Grayscale and Wind Walkers, performing 36 shows across North America, with only a few dates remaining. If you weren’t at this show at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo on Friday night, you missed out. When I arrived at the venue, the show was sold out! The line wrapped around the building, and when I stepped inside, the merchandise line was also very long, with fans securing their purchases. Upon entering the main room, fans were also finding the best spots to watch the show.

Wind Walkers were the first to step foot on stage. This would be their 100th show since they began touring last June. The room was already full, with more fans coming in, while they started their set with “Dead Talk.” Wind Walkers are from Massachusetts, and since their debut, they have quickly become a household name in the metalcore scene. The boys in Wind Walkers put it all on stage; you could see how much fun they were having, Tim Comeau on guitar spinning around while playing, Craig Martin making faces and pointing at the crowd, and how passionate the members are while they perform their songs. Wind Walkers played 8 songs, with some fan favorites like “Almost Ecstasy,” “Eating My Heart Out,” and they ended their set with their number one song on Spotify, “Hangfire.” Wind Walkers have released 2 EPs, 2 albums, and a plethora of singles, which include a cover of Halsey’s “Without Me” and a new single called “Silk & Static.” After catching these guys live, I can’t wait for them to stop by on tour again in the future.

Grayscale has been rocking out since 2011. They started their band back in Philadelphia, and their current members are Collin Walsh, Dallas Molster, Nick Veno, and Andrew Kyne. The band has released five albums and six EPs, along with numerous singles, since 2015. Grayscale is next on the bill. Personally, I enjoyed their set and watching them perform. You could see the passion on their faces when they performed, especially Andrew Kyne (Guitarist) when he was playing more intricate riffs. Grayscale played 9 songs during their set, which came with some high energy.

They told the fans to get down low, and when the song started to jump around, you could see and feel the whole room having a blast. For one of their songs, they wanted to slow it down a bit and started performing “Mum II.” But that didn’t stop them from bringing the energy back up by playing other fan favorites such as “Some Kind Of Magic,” “Summer Clothes,” and they ended their set with “Not Afraid To Die.” At the end of their set, when they were packing up, you could see a couple of them hand the setlists off to the fans at the front of the barricade; it’s such a cool thing to go home with a setlist.

Our Last Night is made up of brothers Trevor and Matthew Wentworth. They started making music, and later, Tim Molloy joined the band as their drummer. Our Last Night has 16 albums in their discography, including some great covers like “Wonderwall,” originally recorded by Oasis, “Beautiful Things," originally recorded by Benson Boone, and their current top song on Spotify is “Your Idol” (KPop Demon Hunters), originally recorded by Saja Boys. Don’t worry, they’re not just a cover band. They also write their own songs, with their latest album being Left Alone, released in May of this year. Our Last Night closed out the show, and the room was filled with anticipation as fans eagerly awaited their performance. They showcased a fantastic mix of cover songs along with their original material.

The set opened with “That’s So True,” a song originally by Gracie Abrams. The band delivered an amazing performance, with Matthew Wentworth energetically jumping around while playing guitar and singing passionately alongside his brother Trevor on Vocals. Tim also gave it his all on the drums. Among the covers they performed were “Habits (Stay High),” “Hot Girl Bummer,” and “ABCDEFU.” The overall energy in the venue created a sense of togetherness, making it feel like a celebration, despite being their final tour. I hope to see them come back in the future because they put on a fantastic show, complete with great lighting and smoke cannons.
