Brainquility Music Festival is an annual music and arts festival at Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. The event will be returning to Suwannee over the weekend of February 6-8, 2020 and will be bringing along a few changes this year. Brainquility originated much further south than Live Oak in Safety Harbor, Florida back in 2018. After a successful first year, curators moved the festival to Spirit of Suwannee Music Park to give the festival some room to grow over the next few years. The festival’s first year at Suwannee in 2019 went off with a bang and curators are now expanding from a two-day to a full three-day event - which allows attendees the opportunity to soak in more music, art installations, and those sweet Suwannee vibes. Brainquility Music Festival is a festival unlike any other than offers attendees the opportunity to dive into a full immersive experience where no artists performances are overlapping each other! Curators at OnTap Music are ensuring that Brainquility leaves a legendary mark in the festival scene by designing an entertainment schedule that allows attendees the opportunity to truly relax and soak in all the extraordinary magic around them without missing a single beat from any of the artists performing.

BQ Lineup

Brainquility Music Festival released their lineup for the 2020 event in two separate phases to build up the hype this year. The initial lineup blew all expectations about the festivals out of the water and set the stage that the curators mean business this year. To kick off a fiery first wave, Brainquility announced The Floozies would be headlining. In case you haven’t heard, The Floozies are the funkiest electronic funk duo from Kansas to ever grace a festival lineup. Their live performances are a supersonic ride through space powered by neck-breaking, booty-shaking experimental funk. The first wave of the lineup also featured some hottest up and coming EDM artists, such as Maddy O’Neal, Megan Hamilton, and Side Trak’d. After announcing an epic first wave, Brainiacs were left on the edge of their seats wondering how they could possibly top their first phase of the lineup release. Shortly after, OnTap Music came in with the sidewinder and blew everyone away with the finalized lineup. Additions to the lineup include Manic Focus, Justin Martin, Bells and Robes, and MZG. The expansion of the festival to encompass a full third day allows for the festival to curate three major headliners. The Brainquility 2020 headliners are The Floozies, Manic Focus, and Justin Martin which is the perfect representation of brainiacs and their musical interests. The headliners are the perfect mash up of jazzy, experimental funk meets neck-breaking, deep dub-step beats. Brainquility Music Festival 2020 is set to be the funkiest way to dust off those dancin’ shoes and kick-off your festival season.

Brainquility being nestled into the beautiful Spanish moss drenched trees of Spirit of Suwannee Music Park allows attendees to relax and submerge themselves into a one of a kind camping experience. Not many other venues sprawl across eight hundred acres and include a river with fishing, canoeing, and bird watching available on sight. To top it all off, curators are bringing some activities and workshops to Brainquility to ensure all attendees are occupied at all times. In between the music, brainiacs will have the opportunity to try their hand at glassblowing, go on a scavenger hunt across the park, learn how to paint in a water painting class, or even try playing disc golf against some of the artists performing! Though the music schedule does not have any overlapping sets, you will need to be an early riser if you’re wanting to pack in activities and see all the music every day. Between these workshops designed to put you in tune with your inner self and the over-the-top music lineup, brainiacs will definitely be getting a fully immersive and liberating experience at Brainquility 2020.
