It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like... Festival Season?
They say Christmas comes earlier every year and festival season seems to be following suit. Festival lineups and teasers have been released all over the interwebs and festies are dropping Christmas cash on pre-sale tickets.
Take a look below at the festivals trying to get you in the Holiday spirit and dream of a new year full of live music. We are here to help you enjoy as much music as possible. So scroll through and start planning today, because the earlier you start organizing the more money you will save.
Volunteer/Street Team: With some work you can get into a lot of these festivals for free, but the sooner you sign up to volunteer and/or street team the better. Some of the festivals held later in the Summer have not posted volunteer information yet, but be sure to check back.
Where to stay: Big Ears, Rhythm N' Blooms, Moog Fest, Shaky Beats, Hangout, Riverbend, Forecastle and Sloss aren't camping festivals. So you need to figure out where you're going to get a little shut eye. Check the festival's official lodging page first to get an idea of price and location. I linked them for your convenience. You can also look into Couchsurfing.com. It's free and fun, if don't mind staying with strangers. Airbnb is another option and you save $20 if you use this link to sign for your first stay.
How to get around: Put Uber and Lyfe on your phone before traveling to the city festivals such as Big Ears, Rhythm N' Bloom, Moog Fest, Riverbend, Forecastle and Sloss, just in case you need it. Get your first Uber ride free with promo code, tarynw59 or your first Lyft ride with, TARYN273.
