Funk Jesus: The Second Coming with The Floozies, SoDown, & Space Kadet- SOLD OUT!

Currently, The Floozies have embarked on a select North American city tour, Funk Jesus: Second Coming, until late April when they end this mini-tour in New Orleans. Luckily for me, the second date on this tour was in Atlanta at the Variety Playhouse located in Little 5 Points. With supporting acts SoDown and local Atlanta favorites Space Kadet, everyone was in for a non-stop dance party thanks to these three acts bringing the funk!

The Floozies have been making the rounds when it comes to playing festivals in North America, so I have managed to catch these guys quite a few times over the years. There is something more intimate about being able to catch this dynamic duo in a smaller environment like the Variety Playhouse, instead of braving massive crowds at a festival. SoDown, or Ehren River Wright, is a saxophonist/DJ/bass music producer from Boulder, Colorado that has taken the EDM world by the reins and will not let go. Space Kadet is actually a local Atlanta based electronic/instrumental band that definitely lives up to their name with their funky, space jam vibe. Space Kadet is a very eclectic band that perfectly blends together deep dub, electro jazz, drum and bass, funk, and some elements of jam. Want to hear some of Space Kadet?
