The Maximum Fun Tour Live @ Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview
We are only a couple of weeks away from the Maximum Fun Tour, which starts on September 5th in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and ends in Corpus Christi, Texas, on November 22nd. This tour features A Day To Remember, Yellowcard, State Champs, The Wonder Years, Boundaries, and Dinosaur Pile-Up, with some bands performing on select dates. The show at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse on September 10th will include Yellowcard, State Champs, and Boundaries alongside A Day To Remember.
A Day To Remember is a significant force in the Post-Hardcore scene since their formation in the early 2000s. They are a band that everyone should see at least once; their live shows are unlike any other, featuring smoke, confetti cannons, and the playful tossing of toilet paper and beach balls. Earlier this year, they released a new album titled Big Ole Album Vol. 1, which ultimately reached the Top 10 on the Billboard charts. Some standout songs from the album include “Flowers,” “Die For Me,” and “Make It Make Sense.” I can't get “Make It Make Sense” out of my head—it's incredibly catchy, with impressive lyrical choices and heavy riffs. Fans have been raving about this album, and I can't get enough of it either. I can't wait to see them bring the album to life in a couple of weeks!
Just days before Yellowcard announced they would be touring with A Day To Remember, they released a new single called “Take What You Want.” Yellowcard is also a band that formed in the early 2000s, and they are another great band to listen to and see in concert. They have a great stage presence and are very energetic. Keep an eye out, in just 57 days, for their new album titled Better Days, which features Avril Lavigne & Matt Skiba and was produced by Travis Barker of Blink-182.
State Champs is the next band on this lineup that I have been itching to see. They are a pop-punk band that I have been listening to since 2015. Their latest album, also self-titled, was released in November 2024. Currently, their number 1 song on Spotify is “Where I Belong,” which was sung along with Simple Plan & We The Kings.
Boundaries is a metalcore band, formed back in 2013. Boundaries are creating a name for themselves in this scene, and fans can’t get enough of them. The band has 4 EPs and 3 Studio albums, the latest one being Death Is Little More. This album connects with their fans due to resonating lyrics about struggling and resilience. They are currently on a headline tour with Stick To Your Guns, Gates To Hell & Psycho-Frame. If you didn’t get a chance to catch Boundaries on their summer tour, then you don’t want to miss them on this one.
Tickets are on sale now! Head on over to each band’s website to get tickets today! You can get tickets over at Ticketmaster, too. There are still some VIP packages left as well. Check out your specific venue for more information.
