Taryn's August Rewind and September Calendar

I didn't go to as many shows as I planned on last month and this month is going to be a slow month as well as I prepare for my move closer to Chattanooga's music scene. Thursday, August 20th Wick-it the Instigator and Manic Focus performed at Rhythm & Brews and the crowd was bananas.

The following evening I enjoyed Kishi Bashi's set at Nightfall Music Series.

That Saturday Ryan and I went to Southern Brewer’s Festival we sampled some beers while Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles played then we settled in to watch Hard Working Americans. We actually enjoyed watching the lightening off in the distance after Hard Working Americans' set and eased our way over to a tent when the rain started falling during The Motet. We squeezed under a big tent with all the other festival attendees when The Motet had to stop playing, because of the rain and high winds. We waited for what seemed like forever for the down pour to stop, then made a break for it as soon as the rain eased up.
