While She Sleeps with He Is Legend, Savage Hands and No Ghost

While She Sleeps have departed on their very first North American headlining tour and coming along for the ride are He Is Legend, Savage Hands and local opener No Ghost. Early in the tour, they made a stop to play Hell at the Masquerade in Atlanta. And ConcertHopper was on hand to take it all in!

First to take the stage were the local act, No Ghost. Being self-described as an Alternative metal act and having pulled from a number of musical influences, they stayed true to this philosophy. Their set was a great mixture of fast pace, energetic and exciting metal .

Savage Hands, second on the bill, consists of members hailing from Maryland and Virginia, who collectively share national touring experience with their previous bands. This means that this young band is a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with. This definitely showed in their stage presence as they exhibited a stage maturity well-beyond that of an group so young as themselves.

Next up were He Is Legend who hail from Wilmington, North Carolina. The band harkens back to the late 1990s when they were formed and have evolved into a diverse musical powerhouse in the time since. With hit songs like, ”Suck Out the Poison“ andThe Seduction” in their repertoire, the band released their new album White Bat in April of 2019. With a timeless stage presence and huge catalog of music to make their way through, the band did not disappoint whether you be a new fan or have been jamming to them since the early days.

Finally, it was time for the headlining act, While She Sleeps, who came all of the way from Sheffield, England to share their music with North America again. But this time as a headliner. This band is no stranger to putting on amazing shows in a supporting role for bands like Arch Enemy, Trivium, and Architects (which ConcertHopper was on hand for, you can check out our review and photos from that show here.) With their new single “Faker’s Plaguereleased to the masses, the group was prepared to bring their amazing stage energy to an extended set as headliners.

And bring this amazgin stage energy they did, with at least three members of the band making their way into the crowd. Lead signer, Lawrence “Loz” Taylor, climbed onto the balcony, dived off stage, and also brought a young man named Luke and his brother on stage to join in on the house party. All in all it was an evening of high energy and high flying antics. This was such an amazing spectacle to witness. Do not miss this tour if you are in one of the cities with a date approaching.
